Indigo Bennett's plan to avoid elbow-rubbing faculty events as a grad student has caught up to him. Adding on the controversial pieces he approved as the editor for the university's literary magazine, Indigo now has two strikes against him where his academic advisor is concerned.  

Indigo attends a faculty mixer in an attempt to provide recompense, only to find the sexy, tattooed painting student he's been spotting all over the city for the past two semesters. When Max Moreno introduces himself and strikes up a conversation, Indigo finds himself swooning. And when he suggests they escape the crowd? Well, Indigo can't say no.
